Comprehensive Plan Update

Our team performed the housing and land capacity analysis for Yarrow Point as part of the update process. The outcomes informed updated comprehensive plan. The full HNA/LCA analysis was included in the appendix for ease of reference

Prior to our working with Yarrow Point the Town had not updated maps in many years. During the update process our team created over a dozen functional maps ranging from critical areas and tree canopy coverage to land use and zoning maps.

We held several in-person and several remote opportunities for members of the public to engage in the update process. A Town wide mailer was sent out which linked to a survey which helped inform the planning commission and council’s decisions for the Town’s vision. Over 25% of households responded to the survey!
Project description
The Town of Yarrow Point comprehensive plan update required the creation of a fully new comprehensive plan to comply with state, regional and county requirements under the GMA. Our team applied for, fulfilled, and managed the periodic update grant for the Town as part of this update.
